Royal Port

"Royal Port is an adventurous variation on the Vieux Carré inspired by the legendary pirate haven of Port Royal in Jamaica. A blend of funky Jamaican rum, vibrant cachaça, and herbal vermouths, complemented by the warm spice of bitters. It's a nod to the daring pirates who sailed the Caribbean, offering a rich and complex flavor profile that feels both historic and modern." —JW

¾ ounce Hampden Estate 8-year Jamaican rum 
¾ ounce Novo Fogo silver cachaça
½ ounce Dolin dry vermouth
½ ounce Dolin blanc vermouth
¼ ounce Yellow Chartreuse
1 teaspoon Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash Dale DeGroff pimento bitters
Garnish: 1 lemon coin

Stir all the ingredients with ice, then strain into a double old-fashioned glass over 1 large ice cube. Garnish with the lemon coin.
